I have an announcement to make.

I have an older dA account than this one that I never used. I like that one's name more than this one. Really, I'm not sure why I got this one instead of just using that one before... huh. Anyway. I'm taking down all my deviations on this account and putting them back up on the old, decrepit one. So yeah.

Those of you who have watched me (now why the hell would you do a silly thing like that?), would you mind terribly redirecting those watches to ~phoenixsong? Yeah. That's the name most of you know me by anyway. Should make things a lot easier. I'll leave the Elfdragon account here for now, just in case I need to... do... something... with it. I don't know. And if something happens to people's favorites because I delete the pictures and re-upload them somewhere else, well, then... sorry. I don't want them on both accounts, though.

Yeah. In other news, I has a nifty new website project thing in the works. Hopefully I won't lose my resolve and let it die like everything else I start. Blargh.

EDIT: Um. Yeah. So it turns out that I can't find the files for some of my pictures on this account and henceforth cannot upload them again. As such, they will stay here until I can figure out what to do.

So, um. Yeah. On a whim, I've decided to actually try and become at least semi-active here again sort of um. I figger I might as well, seeing as I'm going to be making a valiant attempt (and failing miserably, let me tell you now) at either learning to use Photoshop properly or doing more colored pencil stuff. I absolutely HATE having all of these totally boss, awesome looking ideas in my head and being entirely unable to translate them to paper/layered PSD-thing. (I should probably get my hands checked out by a doctor, though... they're starting to crap out on me o.O) But yeah. I've been looking at all of these incredibly boss artists here and elsewhere and I'm totally jealous, so I figure I might as well get to practicing. If my hands don't go phhtttthbbpppthhtbbppb from arthritis or whatever's wrong with me first.

Now my tablet just needs to get here... I didn't take it with me when I moved up here for college last week. Okay, that's no excuse not to draw colored pencil stuff, but um. I wanna try PS7 stuff first.

Also I wish I could do pixel art so I could be all BANDWAGON'D and do a pixel ID of Elfy. Hm, I haven't drawn Elfy in forever. Maybe I should start by practicing with her.

I was one of the eleven winners of a contest Nintendo and some photo-site were holding. I posted my entry here... go look at "Umbrella in the Rain" *can't figger out how to link* if you want to see it. Because you KNOW you want to see it. Huzzah, bizzlenatches! Now they're gonna ship me a DS Lite and a copy of Dungeon and a guide book! (Even though I already have Dungeon Blue and the official NP guidebook...) But a free DS Lite! PWNAGE!!

...you know I've got to be totally out of my mind with happiness when I start using chatspeak. *points to sig* Anyway, even though I am aware of a minimum of five entries that were more masterfully drawn than mine, none of those entries won. Not that I'm knocking the people who DID win--their pictures are good and cute and funny and all--but still, I think some of those people deserved it more than I did. I guess my "I want to be the umbrella in the rain" line won 'em over more than my artwork, huh?

Not that I'm aware of any who'd be on dA, let alone any who would read my page, but a hearty congratulations to the other winners (I wonder who won the grand prize?) and a pat on the back and a job well done to the other gallant entrants.

Wow. I'm actually sharing some details of my meaningless goings-on with someone OTHER than the little voices in my head. What next?

Anyway, I just figured I'd set it in writing that I intend to start my stupid little series of comic strips, "The Lost Tales of Symphonia", sometime this week, maybe tomorrow... er, today. It's frickin' midnight. Anyway.

So, uh, yeah, I sort of feel like doing these simplified little comics about random, funny events I made up that sort of happen around the main story of ToS and... uh... yeah. I actually have one sort of drawn already, I just need to figure out how to do the final version on my computer so that it doesn't look like crap. Heheh, that's right... I don't have any of my digital stuff here on dA yet, do I? You've not yet seen the vicious, bloody homicide that IS Elfy's computer-drawn art, have you? Mwahaha... I'll probably be burning out a few eyeballs on the morrow. I've set up a separate account for them, so, uh, if you actually care or have any faith whatsoever in my non-existent ability to follow through on what I say I'm going to do, then go look up username Lunaska-Luminosa. That be all I'm havin' to say now, mateys. For it be midnight. And I need sleep. Yeah.
